Weather is the one thing that was on the top of every cruisers list. We had 3 maybe 4 weather sites I constantly kept track of always, local, national, global, maritime and wind watcher. That was several computers ago. Probably the worst thing you can do is have a strict schedule. I did a little math about the 9 months, my calculation puts you back in home port, maybe January. Are you sure about that? Florida is a great place to kill time waiting for things to thaw out a little up north. We killed more than three months exploring the sandbar, had to think about leaving when I started to suffer from the effect of ism. Ism is a social disease that centers on alcohol, as in alcoholism. Kidding of course, my point is, it’s a nonstop good time and the best time for visitors to catchup if you want. Your weather will improve, be ready when it does. Safe cruising..

“Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things you didn’t do than by the ones you did do. So throw off the bowlines, sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover.” – Mark Twain

Best of luck to Susan, Foster, and Belle on this wonderful journey! I sent you a message in a glass bottle. Let me know when you get it! I think your journey is truly amazing and courageous. I cannot wait to read about all of your exciting adventures. "Just sit right back and you'll hear a tale..."
