Pig got to try assorted Bacon Jams (West Chester based; &quot;The Bacon Jams&quot; at Celtic Fling this weekend.  We have some exciting culinary plans for them!]]></description>

		<description><![CDATA[He wrote a similar book in 1988 called &quot;A Respectable Ditch&quot; that covers the canal from 1833-1920. It has a lot more details and some interesting back stories.  One of them is that when Big Chute went into it&#039;s second year of operation (1920) they decided to add a full time assistant.  That person was William Angus, the authors father.  He did that job for 41 years and was awarded the Imperial Service Award in 1948.]]></description>
