Its been so fun to see you on the forum frequently – and your website is beautiful.
We got your “hi” message a couple of times now and have been trying to find an email address to keep in touch. Today we are in Joliet, waiting at the wall until the lock can take us down in a few hours. We will be traveling as far as Punta Gorda Florida this trip, where we bought a new home. If you are ever in Florida, come look us up. Traveling with you guys was such a treat – wish you were along this time too.

Hi Foster, have read your posts often. Re your latest on Mike Dickins, your little voice was correct,I used him as a buyers broker, there is nothing good I could say about him, made the purchase of my loop boat very stressful. Many other Brokers wont deal with him, he is not a good ambassador for the Great Loop organisation.
We are in Port Orillia at moment.

I’m from Savannah. Glad you enjoyed our little town. I used to do a lot of work on transient boater’s boats. (worked for Yatch Management). I was wondering what marina you stayed at when you were here? I’ve worked at most of them. If you ever come through again I can give you pointers on where to stay. I noticed you said Thunderbolt on one of your days. I’m still young and working, but I dream of making the loop with my wife one day. Truly hope you enjoy it all! We had a regular client from here in town (back when I worked for Yacht Management) who made the loop (I think it was in 2012). They said it was exhausting, but they loved it and told us many stories. (one of the few clients my wife actually got to meet.)

I’ve been following your comments in the AGLCA for the past year. I know we parked on the same wall in Canada (bobcagyeon?) last June.

I’m late to your blog and would like some technical details. If you already posted that info please send me a link to the posting. I like the layout and your organization. Since there are no ads and the URL is just .com I suspect you have your own paid site.

I stopped at the Greek Festival on May 29 (Friday) and thought of you! We’ve been talking about Food Truck rodeos, but haven’t made it to any of them yet this year.
